Musher Statistics
Like levels, musher statistics are also an indication of your status as a dog driver. Because you are a vital part of the team, mushers have three statistics that are essential to success on the trail: Attention, Endurance, and Handling. Each of these areas may independently improve to a total score of twenty (20). As you progress through the statistics, each improvement will help your overall racing performance.
Attention is also known as your focus – how alert you are on the trail, as well as your ability to spot obstacles before your team does.
Endurance is your version of stamina. How long are you able to withstand the elements, physical fatigue, and other hardships of the trail?
Handling represents how well you handle your dogs. How do your dogs respond to you and your commands? Do they respect you as their leader?
You can improve your musher statistics by visiting the Edit Profile page. Look again to the right-hand side of the screen and, underneath the option to level up, you will see three additional options.
If you do not have enough experience points to improve the stat, then the respective button will appear dimmed and deactivated. It will tell you how many experience points you still need before you are eligible to increase a stat.
If you do, in fact, have the required amount of experience needed, then the button will be active and clickable. This time, it will show you how many experience points you will need to exchange.
Endurance is your version of stamina. How long are you able to withstand the elements, physical fatigue, and other hardships of the trail?
Handling represents how well you handle your dogs. How do your dogs respond to you and your commands? Do they respect you as their leader?
As you progress through the statistics, the cost of upgrading will gradually begin to cost more and more experience points. Improving your skills will also take a little bit of real time! The table below outlines the amount of experience points needed to reach each statistic, as well as the amount of real time needed to improve.
Yes – that's right: real time. Improving your statistics is one of several important tasks that take some real time to complete. You will find that some things around the game require you to wait while your upgrade is finishing. Click here for more information about these Time Builds.
Note: The amount experience and/or time required to improve a musher statistic is the same, regardless of whether you are improving Attention, Endurance, or Handling.
